Parnell Anderson


Parnell Anderson, 82, of Flushing, died May 6, 1987, in Forest Hill Care Center, St. Clairsville. He was born Dec. 11, 1904, at Iron Mountain, Mich., a son of Eric and Elizabeth Thorston Anderson.

A retired florist and employee of the Ohio Highway Department, he was a veteran of World War II and a member of the United Methodist Church, Flushing. He was also a member of the Flushing Rotary, Flushing Library Association and American Legion Post 366

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Howell Anderson, a brother and two sisters. Surviving are two brothers, Walter T. Sr. of Fenton, Mich. and Oscar of Gaylord, Mich.; a sister, Mabel Emmerick of Flint, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends were received at the Warren Funeral Home, Flushing, where services were Saturday with the Rev. Lee Ann Dunlap officiating. Burial was in Methodist Cemetery, Flushing.
