Esther Elizabeth Brown
Mrs. Esther Elizabeth Brown, 57, of Jerusalem, Route 2, died Tuesday morning, January 27, 1971, at 9:30 o'clock in Barnesville General Hospital following a brief illness.
Born near Somerton July 8, 1913, she was a daughter of Mrs. Mary Louise Sullivan Groves, of Jerusalem, and the late Oliver Raymond Groves.
Mrs. Brown was a member of the Bush Church of Christ.
Surviving, besides her mother, are her husband, Floyd Brown; two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Ward and Mrs. Ruth Ann Lucas, both of Jerusalem, Rt. 2; a son, Larry Brown, Jerusalem, Rt. 2; four brothers, Bernard Groves and Arthur Groves, of Columbus; Willard Groves, of Canton, and Dallas Groves, of Orrville, and seven grandchildren.
Friends are being received at the Harper-Campbell Funeral Home in Beallsville.
Services will be held Friday afternoon at one o'clock in the funeral home with Evangelists Charles Hendershot and Tom Butterfield, Jr., officiating. Burial will be in the Bush Cemetery.
