Evelyn N. Brownfield


BARNESVILLE — Evelyn N. Brownfield, 90, of Barnesville, died Tuesday at Hospitality West Nursing Home, Xenia.

She was born July 2, 1910, in Barnesville, daughter of the late Oswald and Elphia (Carpenter) Pierce.

Mrs. Brownfield was a member of West Main Street Church of Christ. She retired from Bethesda Grade School, where she taught for 43 years. She was a member of Ohio Retired Teachers Association.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold K. Brownfield.

She leaves a daughter, Roseanne Cisch of Dayton; a sister, Ellen Smith of Cambridge; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, Barnesville, with services to follow at 1 p.m. with Evangelist Patrick Gampp officiating.

Burial will be in Crestview Cemetery, Barnesville.
