Margaret J. "Peg" Frasher


BARNESVILLE — Margaret J. “Peg” Frasher, 79, of Barnesville, died Thursday (Feb. 8, 2001) at Barnesville Health Care Center.

She was born Dec. 19, 1921, in Barnesville, daughter of the late Morrison Remick “Russ” and Anna Marguerite (Keadle) Kemp.

Mrs. Frasher was a former employee of the GC Murphy Co. in Barnesville. She was a member of East Main Street Church of Christ in Barnesville, Rosewood Twig, Women’s International Bowling Congress and Belmont Grange.

She was a former Girl Scout leader.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Wilkes Frasher; a son, John Allen Frasher; a great-granddaughter, Chelsea Nicole Keadle.

She leaves two sons, Terry Frasher of Sebring and Dean Frasher of Las Vegas, Nev.; a daughter, Shirley Keadle of Barnesville; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Kelly-Kemp-Braido Funeral Home, Barnesville, where services will be 1 p.m. Saturday with Pastor Rodney West officiating.

Burial will be in Southern Cemetery, Barnesville.
