Mary J. (Heskett) Huff


BETHESDA — Mary J. (Heskett) Huff, 83, of Bethesda, died Wednesday at Barnesville Health Care Center.

She was born April 9, 1918, in Bethesda, daughter of the late Howard and Essie (Scott) Heskett.

Mrs. Huff was a retired grocery clerk. She was a member of Bethesda VFW 9712 Ladies Auxiliary, the Bethesda Senior Citizens Center and Ebenezer Baptist Church of Bethesda.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence “Pete” Huff; and a sister, Bessie Simeral.

She leaves a sister, Grace Brandon of Bethesda; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Kelly-Kemp-Braido Funeral Home, Bethesda, where services will be 11 a.m. Saturday with Pastor Bill Hayden officiating.

Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Bethesda.
