Robert L. Kinson


BARNESVILLE — Robert L. Kinson, 81, of Barnesville, died Wednesday (Nov. 29, 2000) at Barnesville Hospital.

He was born Feb. 17, 1919, in Byesville, son of the late Walter W. and Ollie F. (McGeary) Kinson.

Mr. Kinson retired from Barnesville Fraternal Order of Eagles, where he had served as a bartender.

He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in World War II.

He was a member of Friendship Lodge 89 F&AM, American Legion Post 168, VFW Post 2792 and FOE 4252.

He was preceded in death by his companion, Elizabeth Doster; three brothers, William P., James D. and Wiley Kinson; two sisters, Pauline Stewart and Marjorie Castello.

He leaves a brother, Ed Kinson of Columbus; a sister, Mary Krumlauf of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at noon Saturday at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, Barnesville, with services to follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home

Burial will be in Crestview Cemetery, Barnesville.
