Charles Edward Lee


Services for Charles Edward Lee, 78, of Morristown, were held Tuesday from the Kelly-Kemp Funeral Home in Morristown with Rev. Richard Bishop officiating. Burial was made in the Union Cemetery there.

A retired antique dealer, Mr. Lee died Saturday, Dec. 15, 1984 at Martins Ferry Extended Care Center. He was born Aug. 15, 1906 at Morristown, son of the late W.O. and Anna Medley Lee. He was also the retired owner-operator of the L & M Dairy and was a member of the Morristown United Methodist Church. He served with the U.S. Army in World War II. He leaves his wife, the former Theresa Valenbois; one son, John of St. Clairsville; six sisters, Mrs. Elsie Majors[sic], Mrs. Martha Barbe, Mrs. Howard (Tatsie) Wilhelm, all of Morristown, Mrs. Bertha Pittigrew[sic] and Mrs. Emma Calmbacher, both of St. Clairsville; Mrs. Frank (Mabel) Damsel of Barnesville; and one brother, Richard Lee of Pittsburgh, Pa. "A brother, Albert, died in 1983.
