Martha (Fields) Lee
Mrs. Martha Lee, a well known and prominent resident of Morristown, passed away at the Barnesville General hospital Wednesday night as the result of a broken hip which she suffered one week previous. She was eighty-six years of age and owing to her advanced years was not able to overcome the shock. She was the widow of Mr. Isaiah Lee, her maiden name was Fields and she had always lived in the Morristown community. Her only survivors are one niece and three nephews; Mrs. Henry Fisher, Youngstown; Ross Taylor, Cleveland; George and Robert Taylor, Morristown.
Funeral service was held Saturday afternoon in the Morristown Methodist church, of which the deceased was a member, and burial was made in the Morristown cemetery. Owing to the impossibility of her pastor, Rev. Deem, getting out of Wheeling, Rev. F.A. Shiltz of Hendrysburg conducted the service.
