BARNESVILLE — Edith Maxine Moffett, 76, of Barnesville, died Sunday (April 1, 2001) at Wheeling Park Hospital, Wheeling, W.Va.

Arrangements are pending at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, Barnesville.

BARNESVILLE — Services will be 11 a.m. today at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, Barnesville, for Edith Maxine (Whitacre) Moffett, 76, of Barnesville, who died Sunday (April 1, 2001) at Wheeling (W.Va. ) Park Hospital.

Robert Huntsman will officiate. Burial will be in Londonderry Cemetery, Londonderry.

Calling hours were Monday evening at the funeral home.

She was born Dec. 27, 1924, in Barnesville, daughter of the late Lloyd and Alice (Foughty) Whitacre.

She was preceded in death by four husbands, James Wheeler, Bill Scott, Bill Clary and William Moffett; three brothers, Nelson, Ronald and Hobart Whitacre; two sisters, Dorothy Huntsman and Doris Ruth Repik.

She leaves a brother, Richard Whitacre, and a sister, Naomi (Whitacre) Kembroe, both of California; several nieces and nephews.
