Ellen Jane "E.J." (Kemp) Murray
BETHESDA — Ellen Jane “EJ” (Kemp) Murray, 60, of Bellaire, died Thursday at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, W.Va.
She was born May 23, 1940, in Bethesda, daughter of the late Ray and Inez (Thomas) Kemp.
Mrs. Murray was a former employee of The Times Leader in Martins Ferry and a member of the Church of Christ.
She leaves her husband, James C. Murray; a step-daughter, Mrs. Doug (Jennifer) Kriechbaum of Barnesville; a step-son, James C. (Kelly) Murray Jr. of Beallsville; three sisters, Elizabeth Raunikar and Ruth Roan, both of Canton, Barbara Kemp of Massillon; four step-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Kelly-Kemp-Braido Funeral Home, Bethesda, where services will be 1 p.m. Sunday with Minister Tim Snyder officiating.
Burial will be in Beallsville Cemetery.
