Lawrence Moore


BARNESVILLE — Lawrence D. Moore, 49, of Quaker City, died Monday at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, W.Va.

He was born Nov. 1, 1950, in Barnesville, son of Leslie K. Moore of Barnesville, and the late Grace E. (Lashley) Moore.

Mr. Moore was employed by Gardner Lumber of Tippacanoe. He was a Methodist by faith.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Carol Moore and Ada Speicher.

He leaves his wife, Patricia Moore; a son, Randy Moore of Quaker City; a daughter, Jody Moore of Barnesville; a step-daughter, Shannon Rippeth of Georgia; two granddaughters; four brothers, Charles, William and Roger Moore, all of Barnesville, and Mike Moore of Batesville; three sisters, Sylvia Hayes of Barnesville, Betty Babe of Carrollton and Debbie Ctbulski of Maynard.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, Barnesville, where services will be 11 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Al Dudley officiating.

Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Fairview.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
