Jody Lynn (Starr) Phillips


BARNESVILLE — Jody Lynn (Starr) Phillips, 38, of Barnesville, died Tuesday (Dec. 5, 2000) at Wheeling (W.Va.) Hospital.

She was born Jan. 21, 1962, in Barnesville, daughter of Myra Weber Starr Chambers of Charleston, W.Va., and the late Richard Starr.

Ms. Phillips was a graduate of Barnesville High School and Belmont Technical School of Nursing. She had worked at area nursing homes for the past 17 years.

She was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, George Weber; paternal grandparents, Jacob and Irene Starr.

She leaves her step father, David Chambers of Charleston, W.Va.; a daughter, Megan Phillips; a son, Aaron Phillips, both of the home; a sister, Mrs. David (Tina) Leach of Barnesville; a brother, Michael (Wanda) Starr of Barnesville; maternal grandmother, Lina Campbell of Barnesville; step brothers, Todd Chambers of Lima; and Brent Chambers of Pataskala; several nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Kelly-Kemp-Braido Funeral Home, Barnesville, where services will be 11 a.m. Saturday with Pastor Edward Eberhart officiating.

Burial will be in Crestview Cemetery, Barnesville.
