William W. Saffell
William W. Saffell died Monday morning at his home west of Hendrysburg following an illness of several months. He was born March 16, 1876, the son of Charles and Nancy Talbott Saffell and spent his entire life in that community. His survivors include two sisters and one brother, Mrs. Sarah Bishop of Barnesville, Miss Rosie Saffell and Clarence Saffell of the home.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the Sells Funeral Home at Hendrysburg, conducted by the Rev. Dean McElroy, pastor of the Methodist Church at Hendrysburg. Burial was made in Hendrysburg Cemetery.
