Charles Ross Talbott
C.R. Talbott, 89, Dies At Rest Home
Charles Ross Talbott, 89, retired interior decorator, died Sunday, June 20th at 10 :45 a.m. at the Harris Rest Home in Morristown. For the past eight months he had been making his home with a daughter, Mrs. William Zellers, South Main Street, Bethesda.
He was born on March 20, 1876 near New Castle a son of Berkley and Minerva Milhoan[sic] Talbott. In 1902 he was married to Dora Mae Powell who precededhim in death in 1963. He was a life time resident of the Bethesda vicinity and a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Bethesda.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. William Zellers, Bethesda; one grandson Dr. Richard Zellers, Kenton, Ohio; and two great grandchildren. One son, Glen in[sic] deceased. The remains were taken to the Latham Funeral Home in Bethesda where funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2, conducted by the Reverend Gary Ballard, minister of the Ebenezer Baptist Church and Brother William Cook of South Main Street Church of Christ.
