Helen M. Thomas
BARNESVILLE — Helen M. Thomas, 85, of Barnesville, died Tuesday at her home.
She was born Oct. 2, 1911, in Quaker City, daughter of the late Charles J. and Theresa (Gallagher) Knight.
Mrs. Thomas was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Thomas; a brother, Karl Knight; three sisters, Eleanor Totten, Julia Edwards and Gertrude Conner.
She leaves a daughter, Mrs. David (Nancy) Grimes of Fairview; a sister, Eloise Cheney of Ada; three grandchildren, Mike Grimes of Salesville, Dianna Stein of Greencastle, Pa., and Julie McEndree of Quaker City; five great-grandchildren, Meghan and Molly Grimes, Lauren Stein and Emily and Madison McEndree; several close friends and neighbors.
Friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. Friday at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, Barnesville, with services to follow at 1 p.m.
Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery.
