Myrtle B. Taylor


TAYLOR, Mrs. Myrtle B., 88, of the North Fourth Street Nursing Home in Steubenville, died at Ohio Valley Hospital at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

She was born in Morristown, O. January 1, 1884, the daughter of the late Isaiah and Mahaley Brown Thatcher. She was preceded in death in 1965 by her husband, Herbert Taylor. She was a member of the Christian Church in Morristown and the Sunshine Club in Steubenville.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ann Collins of Weirton, Mrs. Earl (Blanche) Settles of Steubenville and Mrs. William (Sadie) Kerwood of Brilliant, O.; two sons, Clarence H. Taylor of Brilliant and Russell Taylor of Mingo Junction; 17 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

Friends received at the McClave Chandler Mills Funeral Home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Pershing Pyle officiating. Interment in the Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
