Patricia Louise “Patty Lou” Welsh
BARNESVILLE — Patricia Louise “Patty Lou” Welsh, 83, of Erie, Pa., died Friday at Hamot Hospital, Erie, Pa.
She was born Nov. 15, 1927, in Barnesville, daughter of the late Harry D. and Dorothy L. (Mercer) Fowler.
Mrs. Welsh taught third grade in Pennsylvania schools for 25 years. She was a member of the Methodist Church and an avid bridge player. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom; a brother, John Fowler; two sisters, Betty Lee Fowler and Frances Eileen Fowler.
She leaves a son, Dr. Thomas (Sue) Welsh of Tallahassee, Fla.; two daughters, Mrs. Barry (Kelly) Yellets of Derry, Pa., and Melissa Sue Murwalski of Romeo, Mich.; a brother, Ted Fowler of Barnesville; and four grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at a later date.
Burial will be in Crestview Cemetery, Barnesville.
Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, Barnesville, is handling local arrangements.
